Service and Warranty Technician

A Service and Warranty Technician will perform various repairs to windows and doors under warranty. Knowledge of windows and doors, including installation, will be vital to the success of this position, along with a strong commitment to customer service. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company is necessary for this role.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of building materials and tools
• Possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work under time constraints
• Possess strong math skills
• Ability to follow directions, both written and verbal
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to climb a ladder to heights up to 32’
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Repairs

• Analyze the job site prior to beginning a repair to ensure quality work can be completed.
• Perform repairs on assigned warranty products using the appropriate tools.
• Conduct window and/or door performance tests.
• Maintain a safe work environment on-site to protect company interests at all times.

Customer Service

• Ensure that customers receive the highest quality workmanship and respect.
• Complete repairs in a timely manner with attention to detail.
• Follow the company’s code of conduct and handle problems and complaints with patience and professionalism.

Knowledge & Training

• Acquire necessary training to repair products safely and efficiently.
• Obtain certification in the relevant product areas to ensure the highest quality service for customers.
