A Carter Lumber Store Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the store as well as developing and maintaining sales relationships with contractors and do-it-yourselfers. This is accomplished by following the direction set by the General and District Managers in the areas of foundation, inventory, sales and profit. Complying with policies and procedures, monitoring key employees, controlling inventory purchases and levels, developing sales and communication are all components of this position. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.
